When Oracle NetSuite decided not to support the cannabis industry, cbdMD (NYSE American: YCBD) was left scrambling for a new ERP. CbdMD had implemented NetSuite a few months earlier. Before that, their previous ERP had poor data visibility, inefficient reporting, and siloed Salesforce and Expensify that hindered seamless operations. Manual processes slowed inventory management, compliance, and caused shipment delays and reliance on expensive developers for data retrieval drove up costs.

Acumatica’s open API allowed CbdMD to easily connect Shopify and the Quality Management Suite from eWorkplace Apps, which provides lot numbers, lot recall tracking, certificates of analysis, rigorous product testing, and helps with state compliance. Acumatica’s end-to-end cloud platform also offered inventory, warehouse, and distribution management.
