This AI-First approach is focused on meeting the real-world needs of our customers, rather than rushing AI-named features into the market that only marginally improve existing capabilities.

Last year, we introduced our Principles of Innovation, which defined our commitment to the responsible, practical, and valuable implementation of new AI technologies. Guided by this intentional approach, we are building pragmatic AI solutions directly into our existing and new workflows for all our industry editions. We’re using the power of our modern technology to integrate rapidly changing AI capabilities, bringing them to our customers. And we’re doing it all while maintaining our foundational principle that you own and have a right to control your own data—period.

Strategic Areas of AI Innovation

When we innovate with AI, we think of features as falling into three core areas: AI as an Intelligent Advisor, AI Interactive Assistants, and AI Automation.

• AI Interactive Assistants will serve as digital co-workers for assisting you in completing tasks and transactions more efficiently and accurately

In the first blog of this “AI That Works for You” series, Practical AI, Powerful Results, we shared with you how Acumatica is redefining AI in ERP systems with practical, industry-specific solutions. We also recently provided an overview of how we deliver automation and intelligence through Acumatica’s AI Studio. In this installment, we’ll share how we’re innovating through AI Intelligent Advisors.

AI as an Intelligent Advisor

Acumatica provides a comprehensive suite of business intelligence and analytics tools, including reports, generic inquiries, pivot tables, and role-based dashboards, to help businesses extract, present, and analyze ERP data in a useful, accessible format. However, AI provides the means to move well beyond this. Acumatica’s AI Advisors use AI and ML algorithms to detect inconsistencies, forecast scenarios based on historical data, and identify critical exceptions.

In today’s fast-moving business environment, the difference between achieved successes and missed opportunities often comes down to making the right decisions at the right time. AI-driven Intelligent Advisors are like on-demand data scientists that give you the ability to perform real-time, dynamic data extraction, and analysis across your business. They will also transform that data into actionable intelligence through an intuitive interface that makes analysis accessible to everyone, so you can make confident decisions faster. An Intelligent Advisor in Action

A strong example of Acumatica’s Intelligent Advisors is AI Insights Anomaly Detection. Released as part of 2024 R2, with expanded capabilities in 2025 R1 and with a new portal coming later in 2025, AI Insights Anomaly Detection is already being used by many of our customers. One such customer, highlighted in the Acumatica Summit 2025 Day 2 Keynote, is Alaska Indoor Sports, which sells lottery scratch off cards and other gaming products.

Alaska Indoor Sports was facing a problem: they didn’t know how to prioritize which customers’ to chase from the thousands of bills that were overdue. They couldn’t apply a standard collection patterns typically used for all customers because of the Alaskan environment. The state is large; many communities are remote; and some places are only accessible by air or water. People may be unable to physically travel to a place to pay their bills for some time, and the mail may be disrupted by harsh weather.

To overcome these issues and get a picture of their true accounts receivable status, Alaska Indoor Sports configured a workflow that uses Acumatica’s AI-powered Anomaly Detection to separate true late payments from payment that are late for good reason. This information is consolidated into a dashboard that shows anomalous insights at a glance and includes details of confidence factors that can be used for final decision making. . Alaska Indoor Sports is applying Acumatica AI to dramatically improve their collections processes in a very personalized way.

Future AI Intelligent Advisor Capabilities

Beyond AI Insights Anomaly Detection, Acumatica is working on new ways to deliver insights and intelligence to our customers. These include things like Dynamic Data Extraction, where we will deploy small language models to generate dynamic Generic Inquiry Query Language (GIQL) queries. Through Intelligent Advisors, we’ll deliver AI-powered forecasting services for predictive insights, frontline components for effective visualization and decision-making, and data-driven visualizations through our Acumatica AI engine.
