Acumatica Summit 2026 Event Guide: Making Sure You’re Prepared

With Acumatica Summit 2026 (January 25-28) almost here, it’s time to start thinking about a few important details, like what you’re going to pack, how you’re going to get there, and what to do when you arrive. Getting ready for our three-day, not-to-be-missed cloud ERP event may be a source of stress but our comprehensive Acumatica Event Guide can help you simplify the entire process.

Here’s everything you need to know to make Summit a smooth, seamless, and enjoyable experience.

Packing for a January Visit to Seattle

As you know, Summit will be taking place this year in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our host city, Seattle, is the perfect place to gather with the Acumatica Community. Jim Desler puts it this way:

“Seattle is the right place to plan, discover, dream, celebrate, and imagine what’s possible for your business to increase performance, transform operations, and meet your growth ambitions. Forged by a pioneer spirit, the Pacific Northwest region offers a unique blend of cutting-edge innovation, vibrant culture, and breathtaking surroundings–where bold, ambitious ideas thrive amidst stunning landscapes, creating a truly special place to live and visit.”

Seattle is an amazing place to visit, but January in Seattle can get a little chilly, which means you’ll want to make some smart wardrobe choices. For example, the average temperature for Seattle this month ranges from an average high of 44-48°F (7-9°C) and average lows around 35-38°F (2-3°C), so you’ll want to bring a winter coat and perhaps a sweater for layering.

In addition to some heavier outer gear, you’ll want to pack:

  • Business casual attire (including branded gear).
  • A “dressier” outfit for Tuesday’s Summit Celebration Dinner and Party.
  • Comfortable shoes.
  • Personal care items.
  • Appropriate clothing to take advantage of your hotel’s amenities (such as a swimsuit if the hotel offers a pool or sauna).

Important: Don’t forget your electronics (e.g., laptops, chargers, etc.), business cards, and a notebook!

Making Your Way to Seattle (and Getting the Lay of the Land)

If you’re planning to fly into Seattle, you’ll be landing at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, which is an approximate 20-minute drive (depending on the time of day) from the state-of-the-art Seattle Convention Center (Summit Building) and nearby hotels. Transportation from the airport includes your choice of the light rail, an Uber/Lyft service, rental car, or a taxi to get to your hotel. The Seattle Convention Center also provides a detailed transportation toolkit that outlines your transportation and parking options during your stay.

This year, we secured five hotels within easy walking distance of the convention center, including the Sheraton Grand SeattleHyatt Regency SeattleGrand Hyatt SeattleHyatt at Olive 8, and Residence Inn by Marriott. Good news! The walk from your hotel of choice to the convention center will take fewer steps than from the Wynn lobby elevators to the meeting rooms in past Summits!

The Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Building offers the Acumatica Community plenty of space to spread out with 573,770 square feet for all our meeting, networking, and exhibiting needs. To get a feel for the space, check out the convention center’s virtual tour.
