As 2024 ends, it’s only natural to look back, assess what went well, and consider ways we can better serve our customers and Community. We are proud of the many achievements of our employees and partners, inspired by the stories of success from our customers, and optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead. At our Summit event in January 2024, I declared that we have entered a new era for Acumatica, and 2024 has confirmed just how true that really is.
Technology continues to advance at a rapid rate, with new breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, expanded applications of robotics and cloud computing, and new features and experiences that spawn greater collaboration, efficiency, and productivity. All these are extending the possibilities for small and midsized businesses to discover new areas of growth and expansion.
Building the Future of Business, Together
As we enter this new era, the importance of working together with our partners, listening to and understanding the challenges and needs of our customers, and clearing obstacles for our creators and developers has never been greater. To fully realize the evolving potential that cloud ERP software offers businesses, we must truly live our Rallying Cry, which bonds our Community and directs our energy: Building the Future of Business, Together. As we collaborate with our partners and customers, we recognize that we need to: execute on our vision of what is possible for business solutions; deliver the features and capabilities that will benefit businesses today; and pursue an approach to innovation that is constantly grounded in strong, clear principles aligned with real-world needs.
By putting our Community first, we ensure that every decision we make is centered on what businesses need to thrive in this ever-changing economic environment.
This Rallying Cry acknowledges that our vibrant Community is our source of strength, our differentiator in the market, and the reason that, in 2024, we saw the continued expansion of our partner ecosystem, an increase of our customer base, and the ongoing growth of the company.
Thanks to the Acumatica Community, 2024 has been a great year, and we’re confidently positioned for incredible growth in the year ahead. With 2025 just around the corner, I wanted to take time to look back and call out some highlights that underscore why Acumatica continues to be the cloud ERP leader.
Acumatica’s 2024 in Review
Annual Summit
Acumatica Summit 2024 saw our highest event attendance yet—with 3,000 customers, partners, creators, and industry analysts gathering on-site in Las Vegas to make connections, learn best practices, and explore how innovative technology helps businesses achieve long-term success. We expanded the event by offering three full days and nearly 100 Breakout Sessions—creating more time and opportunities to network, share information, and learn best practices.
We used this annual Community gathering as an opportunity to celebrate inspiring customer successes during onstage interviews and panel discussions—specifically highlighting those customers who reflect the best of our Community, including our Customer of the Year, Portacool, and Impact Customer of the Year, Polywood®.
We also used Summit 2024 to unveil our updated Acumatica logo, which represents where the company is and where we are going. It’s grounded in our rich past and reflects the evolution of who we are as a company and Community as we move forward together with clarity and purpose.

A Principled Approach to Innovation
Innovation is core to Acumatica’s heritage—evidenced by the vital role we have played in bringing a modern, cloud business solution to small and midsized businesses. We continue our quest to incorporate leading-edge technologies, like AI and machine learning, into our product development. As we push the envelope on what is possible for ERP technology, we want to make sure we do so in a responsible way. Earlier this year, we published our Principles of Innovation, outlining the approach we take to adding new technologies to our solution. This pragmatic approach means developing and implementing capabilities that are engineered responsibly, applied practically, and built to provide value in addressing real-world needs.
Acumatica Product Releases
Acumatica’s twice-yearly product releases supply customers with the state-of-the-art features and functionalities today’s organizations expect from a modern business management solution. Each release delivers thoughtful improvements based on customer input that reflects real-life business challenges.
Acumatica 2024 R1 introduced significant usability enhancements, industry-focused features, and platform updates designed to boost productivity and efficiency. Highlights include a developer preview of the new user interface (UI) for improved personalization and streamlined workflows, enhanced manufacturing planning with “planning horizons,” and optimized shipping workflows with integrated 3G Pacejet. Industry-specific updates supported construction billing accuracy, distribution demand planning, and retail integrations with Amazon and Shopify. Additionally, financial and CRM advancements simplified payment processing, PTO tracking, and email customization—empowering businesses to compete in dynamic, cross-industry markets.
Acumatica 2024 R2 delivered over 350 customer-driven enhancements. Key highlights of 2024 R2 included a controlled release of the new UI, AI-powered anomaly detection in transaction reviews, and direct bank integrations to simplify reconciliation. The release also featured several industry-specific updates, including enhancements to ProForma billing workflows for construction, sales margin anomaly detection for distribution, improved estimating for manufacturers, and enhanced Amazon returns and Shopify integrations for retail.

Living Our Values: AcumatiCares
AcumatiCares is our premier program through which we pursue efforts to protect the natural environment and make the world a better, more inclusive place.
In 2024, our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices earned Acumatica the EcoVadis Silver Medal for the third year in a row. We were in the top 15% of competitors in our industry and in the 89th percentile of all companies assessed globally.
But sustainability and responsibility aren’t just medal-earning platitudes. They are a constant, daily mindset for Acumatica. This year, we published our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, which showcases the ESG strategic framework that guides our processes. The report also details our commitment to energy, carbon, and water management; diversity, employee well-being, and customer satisfaction; and ethical conduct and compliance.
Our Women in Tech (WiT) Community has long been a shining example of what thriving connections can be built when we focus on creating a culture of equality and inclusivity. This year, we reached beyond the Acumatica Community by investing in the future of women’s leadership in tech through a new Acumatica LPGA Scholarship. This scholarship builds on our work with women’s golf and our sponsorships of top LPGA golfers, including Lilia Vu. It also reflects Acumatica’s commitment to fostering greater representation of women in both golf and STEM fields—empowering the next generation of leaders.
Optimism As We Enter 2025
As we look ahead to 2025, the new year offers plenty of promise and an abundance of opportunity. I hope the next 12 months are filled with success for every person and business in the Acumatica Community as we embark together to explore technological advances that open new and better ways of doing business—and new ways for us all to build the future of business, together.
