Our annual Event Guide provides the vital information you need to fully prepare for Summit, including what to pack, how to get to the resort, where to go when you get there, and so much more.
1. Deciding What to Pack
First things first, you may be wondering what to pack for a winter event in Las Vegas. January is the second coldest month for Vegas, with temps ranging from an average high of 59°F/15°C to a potential low of 28°F/-2°C. This means you’ll want to bring a jacket and/or sweater along with:
- Business casual attire (including branded gear).
- A workout outfit (to take part in Morning Yoga or the Fun Run).
- A “dressier” outfit for Tuesday’s Summit Celebration Dinner and Party.
- Comfortable shoes.
- Personal care items.
- Appropriate clothing to take advantage of Wynn’s many amenities (like a swimsuit for the heated pool).
Additionally, don’t forget to pack your electronics (e.g., laptops, chargers, etc.), business cards, and a notebook.
2. Finding Your Way to Wynn Las Vegas
Once you reach Las Vegas, you’ll need to know how to get to Wynn Las Vegas, which is conveniently located three miles from the Harry Reid International Airport. There are several transportation options for getting from the airport to the resort.
You can:
- Rent a car from the Harry Reid International Airport Rent-A-Car Center.
- Arrange for a rideshare through Uber or Lyft.
- Use a taxi service.
- Take the local bus.
- Schedule a seat on the airport shuttle (in advance) through Wynn’s Concierge Services.
If you decide to rent a vehicle, Wynn offers two parking options: free self-park garages located off Las Vegas Boulevard (subject to availability) or Valet Parking for $40/day (also subject to availability).
3. Making the Check-In Process Easy
Wynn Las Vegas offers exceptional customer service, and this includes making the check-in process easy and convenient with their Digital Check In option. After downloading the Wynn Resorts app, you can use your mobile device to check in before arriving at the resort.
If you’d prefer to check in at the resort, friendly, professional staff members are available at the Front Desk, or you can use the personal check-in stations located to the right of the Front Desk.
4. Figuring Out Wynn Las Vegas
While attending Summit doesn’t require you to be a well-conditioned mountain climber, Wynn’s impressive size means you should be prepared for some walking. Wynn and its sister property, Encore, offer 4,748 beautiful guestrooms, 110,000 square feet of 24/7 gaming space, and 560,000 square feet of award-winning conference space—all on 215 acres located on the Las Vegas Strip.
