IIG’s AcuBoost “Container Tracking,” powered by Acumatica, provides businesses with complete visibility into inventory in transit, streamlining container management. It enables tracking of items in Purchase and Transfer Sales Orders, supports importing goods from overseas warehouses, and allocates Landed Costs per item. Inventory can be received into an in-transit warehouse, and sales orders fulfilled directly from container stock.
The system offers live API tracking for container locations, detailed movement logs, and automatic allocation of Landed Costs, duties, and tariffs. Users can generate reports like Commercial Invoices and Bills of Lading for received goods.

The AcuContainer plugin for Acumatica has been a game-changer for our operations, earning a well-deserved five stars. My company operates three different branches (different legal entities) who share inbound logistics. Our items are also large and expensive to ship, and freight is a large component of landed cost.
It is useful to be able to properly allocate landed costs by branch instead of the manual process we used before, which would require us to calculate proportional costs and do lots of true up payments from one company to another.
We did need an enhancement to make the multi branch features work 100% properly for our processes, but they were able to make it work.
The automated duties calculation is nice, and I am looking forward to the 25R2 upgrade that allows us to use effective dates. It seems there is a new tariff rule every 5 minutes.
The only feature that would be nice would be the ability to manually allocate landed expenses if one line item should be more heavily weighted.
Currently, you can choose to do the entire container by volume, weight, or cost for each individual expense. Sometimes one individual item, while having a lower FOB value, may need to have more weight of a particular landed cost.

Based on our previous experience with IIG we opted to go with the IIG Container Tracking Module. Tracking our products from our overseas vendors has been like night and day. We receive about seventy-five containers from overseas vendors in a four month period. We used to track what items were on each container manually external from Acumatica, this was a tedious time consuming process.
With IIG’s Container Tracking Module we can see what PO and Partial PO line items are on each container. Tracking a container on a specific vessel in real time is a click away, no more going to a different website and enter vessel information to know where it is. These are just a couple of things that changed for us by adding Container tracking. Needless to say, we are very happy with the product. Phase two for us will be implementing its landed cost capabilities.
